Fall, James Linn James Linn Fall, 83, of Longview, died Wednesday morning, October 24, 2007, in Longview. He was born January 15, 2007, in Rusk, to James Linn Fall Sr. and Winnie Lenore Gray Fall. Mr. Fall graduated high school in Chireno, and he attended Stephen F. Austin State University and North Texas Agricultural College before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He proudly served during World War II as a radio/gunner on a B-17. He retired from Texas Eastman as an electric and instrument technician. He also enjoyed many years as an amateur radio operator, K5JF. Mr. Fall is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Eaves Fall of Longview; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alison and Bachman Nabors of Kempner, and Patti and Lamar Clark of Southlake; and four grandchildren, Gary Keenan of Longview, Charlie Keenan and his wife, Heather, serving in the U.S. Army, Jeff Clark of Southlake, and Katie Clark Thurman and her husband, Tim of Houston, TX. Memorial services for the family of Mr. Fall will be held at their family farm in Lufkin. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his nurses and aides for all their care during his stay at Summer Meadows.
