CREMATION - GREGG COUNTY

Memorial Services for Robert Lee Files, 82, of Gladewater, Texas will be held at Clarksville City Baptist Church on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Roger Gage officiating. Rob passed on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Gladewater. Cremation services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home.

Robert Lee Files was born to Nathan Wheeler Files and Nola Ray Files in Albion, Oklahoma on February 20, 1933. He held an associate’s degree and was retired from the United States Air Force. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Betty Files of Gladewater; sons, Mike Files and wife Barbara of Branson, Mo., Terry Files and wife Deba of Portland, Texas; daughter Valerie Manley and husband Ray of Gladewater; brother, M.L. Files of California; sister, Dora Parks of Plano, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Files was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Rhonda Lee Walker; brother, Otis Files; and sisters, Ethel Boran and Nyle Jones.
