J. B. Gable

Graveside services for J.B. Gable, 80, of Longview will be 10 a.m. 
Friday will be in Grace Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Pirtle 
officiating and under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.

Mr. Gable died Wednesday afternoon in a local hospital.

He was a lifetime resident of East Texas and was a retired oil field 
driller and roughnecker. He was a Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his brothers, Troy and Fred, both of Longview; and 
sister, Mrs. Clifford Reynolds, Myrtle Keith and Alta Green, all of 
Longview.
