Tuesday May 5, 1936 Last Rites Today For H H Galloway Beloved Banker Harold H Galloway, 43, auditor of the First National Bank here, died late Monday from a siege of pneumonia, and funeral services for the Judson road resident were to be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Kelly Memorial Methodist church with the Rev. Fred Few officiation. Mr Galloway had been a resident of the Longview area since July 1932 and had been identified with the bank since that time. Mr Galloway was educated in the Llano high schols. He enlisted in the Army in 1917 and served as a lietenant. After being discharged from the Army in 1919, he went to West Columbia, Texas and joined the Capitol State bank of that city as an executive officer and remained with that institution until 1932. He later served the Public National Bank of Houston. He was a member of the Kelly Memorial Methodist church and of the Masons. Surviving are his widow, two children, Harold Reed and Donald Hugh of Longview; parents, Mr and Mrs N C Galloway of Round Mountain, Texas; two brothers, M M Galloway of Goose Creek; three sisters, Mrs Louis Eberling of Round Mountain, Mrs Vista G Newberry of Fredericksburg and Miss Sue Galloway of Houston. Members of the Masonic Lodge will be in charge of the body at the grave and all arrangements will be in charge of Welch's Funeral home. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.
