Gillette, Roger Neil Services for Roger Neil Gillette, 46, of Longview, will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2006, in the mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Roger was born August 16, 1959, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Jack and Rosemary Moore Gillette. He died in June 2, 2006, in Rusk County. Roger attended high school in Lewistown, Illinois, and later moved to East Texas, where he worked in the oil field industry. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was interested in anything pertaining to Indy cars and racing. His parents preceded him in death. Roger will be missed by his daughters, Sarah and Jacklyn Gillette; grandmother, Mildred Gillette; sister, Susan Kumer and husband, Jim; nieces, Terri Sollo and Kelli Williams; the mother of his children, Traci Gillette; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the East Texas Professional Credit Union to benefit the education fund for Roger's daughters, Sarah and Jacklyn Gillette.
