Garner, Barbara Lou   	

GLADEWATER - Services for Barbara Lou Garner, 75, of Gladewater, will 
be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, 
with Leaman Keele officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

She was born March 4, 1932, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Julian Dee 
Thomas and Florence Sue Worley Thomas. She was a member of the Oakdale 
Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Garner; and her brother, 
James Worley Thomas.

She is survived by her brother, George Earl Thomas of Houston; four sons, 
Robert Eugene Garner of Marshall, Gordon Van Garner of Hawkins, Gary D. 
Garner of Union Grove and James Ray Walker of Longview; four daughters, 
Patricia Gail Garner of Gladewater, Mona Lynn Walker of Longview, Tamara 
Jean Dries of San Antonio and Vickie Ann Counts of Atlanta, Georgia; 19 
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew.

Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Garner and Mark Thomas.

The Garner family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Leaman 
Keele for all of his love, support, thoughts and prayers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 11, 2007, 
at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
