Gay, Joyce Joyce was born February 3, 1931, in McKinney, to Ruth Irene Younce and Daniel Allen Stockwell. She went to her heavenly home on March 25, 2007. A memorial service for Joyce will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church of Gladewater, with Dr. W.D. O'Neal officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Joyce filled her life with her love for the Lord and her family. Joyce gave her heart for 37 years by using her talent as a floral designer, working at several flower shops in Longview. Her personal love was expressed as a church librarian, as a Sunday school teacher, and being a good friend to many. Joyce is survived by her husband of 57 years, Page Gay; her three children: one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Dot Gay of Winona; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Christie and DeWayne Farrar, and Debra and Jerrel McBride of Kilgore; one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Clyde Floyd of Wylie; one brother-in-law and sister- in-law, Bill and May Gay of Euless; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Joyce had requested that instead of flowers, memorial donations be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church in Gladewater, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Library in Longview, or to Grace Baptist Church Senior Saints in Kilgore. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, March 28, 2007, at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com.
