Goff, Maxine KILGORE - Services for Maxine Goff, 73, of Kilgore, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jake Womer officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Goff died Thursday, August 9, 2007, in Longview, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born January 7, 1934, in Harlingen, Texas. Maxine attended public schools in Hobbs, New Mexico. She and her husband, Wavie, moved to Kilgore in the early 1950s. Mrs. Goff was a homemaker who brought many children into her home throughout the years. She was an ordained minister, a member of the Lighthouse Church of Liberty City and a strong prayer warrior. Mrs. Goff is survived by her husband, Wavie Goff of Kilgore; four daughters, Patsey Canterbery of Kilgore, Janice Cagle of Overton, Bobbie Jo Rojas of Gladewater and Sally Kay of Linden; four sons, Wavie Goff Jr. of Overton, Vernon Clay Goff of Kilgore, Ray Campbell of Dallas and Bobby Spradlin of Kilgore; one sister, Martha Maynard of Kilgore; one brother, Joe Duncan of Hallsville; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a grandson; Chava Estrada; and a close friend, Leta Denman. Her daughter, Charlotte Estrada, also died as the result of the same accident.
