Goff, Wavie KILGORE - Services for Wavie Goff, 76, of Kilgore, will be at 2 p.m. today, August 14, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Jake Womer officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. Mr. Goff died Sunday, August 12, 2007, in Longview, as the results of an automobile accident. He was born August 12, 1931, in Fort Towsen, Oklahoma. His family moved to Kilgore in the early 1930's. He attended Kilgore schools. Mr. Goff worked for the City of Kilgore and Martin Gas. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church. Mr. Goff was in the U.S. Army National Guard Reserves. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Estrada; and a grandson, Chava Estrada. Mr. Goff is survived by four daughters, Patsey Canterbery of Kilgore, Janice Cagle of Overton, Bobbie Jo Rojas of Gladewater, and Sally Kay of Linden; four sons, Wavie Goff Jr. of Overton, Vernon Clay Goff of Kilgore, Raymond Campbell of Dallas, and Bobby Spradlin of Kilgore; two sisters, Juanita "Dotsy" Waits of Longview, and Roxy Lee of Kilgore; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
