SMITH COUNTY - FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY


Services are pending for Lewis Garner, 68, of Gladewater, with the Heritage Funeral Home, of Gladewater.

Mr. Garner died Wednesday afternoon May 13, 1981 in Bonham after a lengthy illness. He was born September 15, 1912 in the Friendship Community near Gladewater and was a disabled veteran of World War II.

Survivors include four brothers, T.C. Garner, Joe Garner, Edgar Garner all of Gladewater and Roland Garner of Angleton, Tx., and three sisters, Mrs.Nannie Aycock of Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Ellen Todd of Charleston, S.C. and Mrs. Flossie Rogers of Sweeny, Tx.
