Opal Rowan Hancock

Services for Opal Rowan Hancock, 77, of Longview will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Welch Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hancock died Thursday night in a local hospital.

She had been a resident of Longview since 1940 and was a member of the First church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her son, Charles Reavis of Naples; daughters, Joyce Brantley of Longview and Wanette Maxwell of Tyler; brothers, Carl Williams of Rowlett, Roy Williams of Marshall, Pat and Fred Williams of Longview; sisters, Dovie Redding and Marie Webb of Longview; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her husband and son.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 - 8:30 tonight.
