Harris, Carrie Lynne Swan KILGORE -- Mass of the resurrection for Carrie Harris, 27, of Kilgore, will be 4 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Father Stephen Butts officiating. Carrie died Thursday, July 13, 2006, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born March 2, 1979, in Longview, Texas. Carrie was a 1997 graduate of Sabine High School. She attended Kilgore College, University of North Texas, and Stephen F. Austin State University where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in early childhood development. Mrs. Harris was employed by Early Childhood Intervention, Andrews Center in Tyler, Texas. Carrie was St. Paul's youth group leader and children's Sunday school teacher. She loved spending time in nature with her beloved husband and faithful, little companion dog, Ellie. Carrie was a devoted sister and precious daughter. Mrs. Harris is survived by her best friend and husband, Matt Harris of Kilgore; parents, Moe and Laura Swan of Liberty City; sister, Kate Elizabeth Swan of Liberty City; grandparents, Luther and Marceline Swan of Overton; great-grandmother, Mollie Irene Swan of Kilgore; father-in-law, Arthur Harris of Longview, mother-in-law, Judy Harris of Longview; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
