J. R. Hayes, 92, of Longview will be noon Monday at the Rader Funeral 
Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Norvell officiating.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes died Friday in a Marshall nursing home.

Born in Chicago, Ill., Mr. Hayes spent most of his life in Longview. 
He was a member of the Mobberly Avenue Baptist Church in Longview. 

Survivors include his wife, Lois of Marshall; a daughter, Nita 
Holloway of Marshall; two granddaughters, Karen Turner of Longview 
and Norma Ashmore of Hallsville; five great-grandchildren; one 
great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
