Ollae Hayes 

Services for Ollae Hayes, 95, of Longview will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Welch Funeral 
Home Chapel with Bros. Sloan Gentry, Herman Cain and Jim Elam officiating. 

Mrs. Hayes died Saturday. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of R. J. and Susan Whittington, Gregg County pioneers, and lived 
most of her life in Longview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheriff Will Hayes, 
and her son, Bill Dollahite. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church and a 
50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Johnson of Dallas; two sisters, Margie Whittington and 
Jessie Sue Harper, both of Longview; three grandchildren and seven great-granddaughters.
