A. James Henry Jr.

Services for A. James Henry Jr. of Longview will be 2 p.m. today in the 
Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Owens officiating.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Henry died Wednesday in a Dallas hospitall.

He was a charter member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Henry was 
a former tax collector-assessor for the city of Longview and retired in 
1979. He was a former member of the Jaycees and was a past president of 
State Tax Assessor-Collectors Association.

Survivors include a son, A. James Henry III of Richardson; and a 
granddaughter, Kristen Alexis Henry of Richardson.
