Tuesday February 10, 1931 Funeral Services are Held Here for Longview Woman Funeral services for Mrs F. E. Hinman, who died Saturday night at the home of her father, E. E. Prothro, on South Green street, following a day's illness with influenza and pneumonia, were held at the First Christian Church yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Ben F. Hearn, pastor of the Christian church at Mineral Wells, conducted the services. he was assisted by Rev. Jas. R. Wright pastor of the local church. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery. Helen Prothro was born near Longview on May 9, 1888. She was married October 20, 1920 to F. E. Hinman and they moved to Mineral Wells to make their home. She had been a a member of the Christian church and had been active in the work of the church to the time of her death. Surviving her are her husband, her father and mother, Mr and Mrs E. E. Prothro; three sisters, Mrs O. B. Mackey, Troup, Mrs A. S. Adams, Elderville, and Mrs G. E. McNeese, Longview; one brother Charley Prothro, Longview. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral services were Mr and Mrs W. P. Smith, Mr and Mrs J. L. Miller, Mr and Mrs Robert Mill and child, Mr and Mrs Leo Throckmorton, Mrs Carsell Odell, Mrs Jack Landrum, and Rev. Ben A. Herne, all of Mineral Wells. Palbearers were: J. F. Stuckey, John T. Hopkins, Bonnie Pliler, Dee McHaney, Algie and Tom Landers.
