Longview Citizen Dies in Shreveport

Mrs Evie Emma Hodnett, 33 years of age, died at the home of her brother 
Minos Kennedy in Shreveport on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, where she 
had gone for treatment having suffered from illness for several months. 
Funeral services were held from the residents of her parents, Mr and Mrs 
E. J. Kennedy this afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Wm R. Swain, 
pastor of Kelly Memorial Methodist church, with interment in Grace Hill 
cemetery.

Deceased is survived by her husband Tom Hodnett, parents, Mr and Mrs E. J. 
Kennedy, four sisters and two brothers. Mrs Hodnett was reared in Longview 
and has a host of friends that received the news of her death with sorrow.
