Holliday, Vivian 


MARSHFIELD, Mo. -- Vivian Holliday, daughter of Jack and Mary Louise 
Nix Ray, was born August 8, 1937, in Longview, and she departed this 
life peacefully on September 12, 2006. At the time of her passing, she 
was 69 years of age. Vivian was retired from Good Shepherd Hospital in 
Longview. During her years at the hospital, she made many friends with 
her co-workers who remained with her. She was of the Baptist faith. The 
family of Vivian Holliday would like to express their sincere thanks to 
them; she thought of them as her second family. Vivian was preceded in 
death by her parents; and a son, Derek Holliday. Survivors include her 
son, Darren Holliday of Fordland, Mo.; her twin sister, Vickie Baxter 
of Fordland, Mo.; Marianne Simmons of Atlanta, Ga., Helen Freytag, of 
Austin; and her beloved pet, Raven. Private services for Vivian will 
be held at a later date under the direction of Day Funeral Home of 
Marshfield, Mo. Memorial gifts or donations may be made in her name to 
your local cancer center or your local hospice.
