Haltmeyer, Ilona KILGORE - Services for Ilona Haltmeyer, 68, of Kilgore, will beat 3 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2007, at the First Baptist Church, with the Reverend David Hampton and the Reverend David Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Haltmeyer went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 16, 2007. She was born April 30, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, to Thomas and Gladys Ellefsen. In 1957, Ilona obtained her RN degree from Augustana Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois, and married Norman Haltmeyer on November 27, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Haltmeyer; and a brother, Dwight Ellefsen. Mrs. Haltmeyer is survived by her husband, Norman Haltmeyer of Kilgore; two daughters, Cheryl McCullouch and her husband, John of Madison, Mississippi and Deborah Haltmeyer of Little Elm, Texas; two sons, Timothy Haltmeyer of Mission Viejo, California and James Haltmeyer of Houston, Texas; a sister, Grace Hulstedt of Rockford, Illinois; five grandchildren, Travis McCullouch of Madison, Mississippi, Michael McCullouch of Madison, Mississippi, Michele Haltmeyer of Clarksville, Maryland, Nicolas Haltmeyer of Clarksville, Maryland and Kyle McCullouch of Madison, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
