Henry Sr., Ralph Lee Funeral services for Ralph Lee Henry Sr., 83, of Longview, will be held at noon Saturday, December 2, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Tim Watson and the Reverend Dewayne Beaty officiating. Entombment will follow in the Memory Park Mausoleum. Mr. Henry was born on October 25, 1923, in Athens, Tenn., to Eli and Evalou Henry. He passed away on Thursday morning, November 30, 2006, in a Longview nursing facility. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longview. Mr. Henry was known as being the first salesman in Longview for the Frito Co. He proudly served his country in Europe with the U.S. Army as a master sergeant In the 187th General Hospital during World War II. Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ralph Lee Henry Jr.; and brothers and sisters, John Henry, Luke Henry, Tony Visconti, Lillie Mae King, Ruby Jackson, and Dorothy Jones. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Moore Henry of Longview; daughters and son-in-law, Kay and Ken Wright of Doylestown, Pa., Nancy Phillips of Longview, and Debby Bennett of Longview; as well as son and daughter-in-law, David and Jane Henry of Longview; grandchildren, Mike and Donna Crawford of Austin, Jayme and Stephanie Brown of Longview, Jonathan Brown of Pennsylvania, Jesse Brown of Pennsylvania, Johanna and Luke Roberts of Longview, Kyle Bennett of Bossier City, La., Scott Bennett of Longview, Brittney Summer Henry of McKinney, and Hayden Henry and Jorden Henry, both of Longview; great-grandchildren, Deanna Crawford, Ira Nicole Roberts, Aaron Crawford, Jonathan Bennett, Eden Brown, and Ava Noelle Roberts; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Minnie Sue Henry; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lula and Jessie Vincent, Mamie Sue and Fred Wright, and Leona Henry; special niece, Sherry Moore Molpus and husband, Richard; special family friends, Pam and Roger Kulig; as well as several other nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of Mr. Henry to First Baptist Church of Longview, "Extreme Church Makeover Church Edition" Fund, 209 E.
