Hestand, Carrie M.  
 	
Carrie M. Hestand, 93, of Longview, was born December 30, 1912, the fourth 
of seven children born to Thomas R. Martin and Pearl Grant Martin. She 
married Wilmer L. Hestand on April 16, 1932, and they had two children in 
their 58 years of marriage. Mrs. Hestand was preceded in death by her 
husband; one daughter, Peggy; her parents; great-grandson, Christian; five 
brothers; and one sister. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David 
and Betty Hestand; granddaughter, Traci Pyles, all of Longview; grandson, 
Stephen and wife, Jessica, of Waskom; two great-granddaughters, Keeli and 
Ayla; and one great-grandson, Logan. A private ceremony will be held at a 
later date. At her request, Mrs. Hestand will be cremated.
