Hodge, Bessie Faye GLADEWATER - Services for Bessie Faye Hodge, 72, of Gladewater, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery in Cass County. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born August 24, 1934, in Ellington, Missouri, she entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 1, 2007, surrounded by her husband and three children. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Ernest Hodge of Gladewater; two daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Jerry Weatherall of White Oak; Sharon and John Rigsby of Midlothian; one son, John Ernest Hodge of Gladewater; four grandchildren, Sean Butler, Adrian Butler, Laci Kirk and Jeremy Rigsby; one great-grandson, Zachary Butler; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Kirk; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pearl Agatha Byrd; three brothers; and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rigsby, Sean Butler, Adrian Butler, Charles Reel, Gary Collinsworth and Paul Hudson. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Grace Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, April 2, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
