Barbara Jane Holloway

Graveside services for Barbara Jane Holloway, 59, of Hemet, Calif. will be 10:30 
a.m. Saturday at Grace Hill Cemetery with the Dr. Jim Elam officiating. 

Rader Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

She died Thursday at her California residence.

She was a fifth-generation native of Longview, and the great-granddaughter of O.H. 
Methvin, who founded Longview in 1870. She was a graduate of Longview High School 
and Texas Christian University. She taught 35 years in California Schools before 
retiring. She was a partner and director for Camp Peak and Camp Pine, girls camps 
in Idylwood, Calif.

Survivors include a brother, William Holloway of Lake Cherokee; a sister, Ruth H. 
Sandidge of Longview; and several nieces and nephews
