Huey, Bob

KILGORE -- Services for Bob Huey, 74, of Kilgore, will be 
4 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at Trinity Assembly of 
God Church with the Rev. Roger Hoffpowier officiating. Mr. 
Huey will be buried next to his beloved wife, Opal Faye 
Huey, in Kilgore Cemetery. He was born June 6, 1932, in 
Kilgore, Texas. At a young age, his parents moved to 
Palestine, Texas, where he graduated high school in 1949. 
He attended Kilgore and Odessa junior colleges before 
working as a drilling contractor. Mr. Huey went to work for 
the Dialog Co. in 1959, where he was the district manager 
from 1973 until his retirement in June 1994. Bob was a member 
of the Trinity Assembly of God Church. Mr. Huey is survived 
by a daughter, Debra Huey Seidel of Austin, Texas; three 
sons and daughters-in-law, Robby D. and Susie Huey of Kilgore, 
Bobby N. and Penny Huey of Kilgore and Larrison Lee Huey of 
Kilgore; grandchildren, Angel Huey Johnson and her husband, 
Mike, of Kilgore, Kimberly Lynise Shipman and her husband, 
Dustin, of Austin, Robby Huey Jr. and his wife, Jacke, of 
Kilgore, Bobby Jack Huey of Kilgore, Mary Ruth Huey of Kilgore, 
Heather Ann Huey of Dallas, Michael A. Huey of Kilgore and 
Ashley Nicole Huey of Dallas; four great-grandchildren, Brayden 
Micheal Johnson of Kilgore, Robert Mason Huey of Kilgore, 
Madisyn Faye Shipman of Austin and Mayce Elizabeth Huey; and 
several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 
from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today, January 8, 2007, at Rader Funeral 
Home of Kilgore. Memorial contributions made to the American
