Mrs. L.D. 'Velta' Huey

Graveside services for Mrs L.D. "Velta" Huey of Longview were 2 p.m. today at 
Grace Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Lansford officiating under the direction 
of Rader Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huey died Friday in a Longview hospital following a short illness.

A native of Arcadia, La., Mrs. Huey was a former resident of El Dorado, Ark., and 
was a 57 year resident of Longview.

Mrs. Huey was a homemaker, a Baptist and a member of the Cities Service Retirees 
Club.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, L. D. "Dude" Jr and Nell of 
Longview; two grandchildren, Rick Huey and wife Teresa, and Pam Salter and husband 
Malcolm; and great-grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Huey and Stacey, Ben and 
Jamie Salter.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
