Hall, Chester G. FORT WORTH - Chester G. Hall died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center of Excellence in Fort Worth. He was born September 10, 1915, in Fresno, California, the son of Charles Waiteman Hall and Cora Edith Denny Hall. Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Eggleton Hall; his daughter, Rosemary Hall Ferguson; his sister, Catherine Hall Yokum, formerly of Benicia, California; and his brothers, Clyde Hall and Kenneth Hall, formerly of Fresno, California. He is survived by a son, Kenneth G. Hall of Vicksurg, Mississippi and his wife, Cathey; three daughters, Carol Marshall of Kuwait City, Kuwait, Taffy Jeffers of Longview and her husband, Steve, and Susan Everts of Fort Worth and her husband, Frank; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great- grandchildren. Chester was employed by R.G. LeTourneau Inc. in Fresno, California, Peoria, Illinois, Toccoa, Georgia and Longview. After retirement from LeTourneau, he moved to Corpus Christi, where he was employed by I.H.C. Holland and Baker Marine. He was a devout Christian, active in the Presbyterian Church, lifelong member of Gideon's Lion's Club and involved in local charities. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007,at First Presbyterian Church Chapel in Longview. Published in the Longview News-Journal on 9/5/2007.
