Halton, Ira Lee Ward   	

Services for Ira Lee Ward Halton, of Longview, Texas, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 
7, 2007, at The Original Zion Hill Baptist Church in Tatum, Texas. Burial will follow in 
Zion Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Halton was born February 27, 1927, in Tatum, Texas, to the parentage of Pulson and 
Emma Mae Carter Ward, who preceded her in death. She was called home on Sunday, September 
2, 2007.

She was a lifelong member of The Original Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Halton was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dee Davis Halton; daughter, 
Evelyn Joyce Adams; sister, Eldora Ward, Arizona Ward and Vallye Moss; and brother, Curtis 
Ward Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, James Milton and Christopher Halton, both of 
Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Chun and Falecia Halton of Tatum, Texas, Kelli and Rodney 
Tatum of Irving, Texas, Nakeisha and Kimberly Adams, both of Longview, Texas, and Gabrielle 
Halton of Longview, Texas; great-grandchildren, Ashlei Mitchell, Zachary Tatum, Anna and 
Alecia Halton; sister, Eula James of Longview, Texas; son-in-law, Charles Adams of Longview, 
Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. this evening, September 6, 2007, at Stanmore 
Funeral Home of Longview.
