Hand, Effie Lee   	

Graveside services for Effie Lee Hand, 92, of Longview, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, 
September 4, 2007, at Old Liberty Hill Cemetery in Smith County. Mrs. Hand passed away 
on Friday, August 31, 2007.

Mrs. Hand was born November 17, 1914, in Nacogdoches, to Andy and Katherine Hutchinson 
Hicks. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda McElyea of Port Orchard, Wash.; son, Al Hand of 
Gainesville, Ga.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, 500 E. Loop 281, 
Longview, TX 75605.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 2, 2007, at 
the funeral home.
