Hathorn, Marion Elvin

Funeral services for Marion Elvin Hathorn will be held at 10 a.m. 
Saturday, May 12, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 
Judson Road, with the Reverend Danny Warbington officiating. Burial 
will follow in Memory Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rader 
Funeral Home of Longview.

Mr. Hathorn passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007.

He was born February 16, 1935, in Houston County, and he had lived 
in Longview for 24 years and Hallsville the past six years. He was 
a member of the Mulberry Springs Baptist Church and retired from 
Pine Crest Country Club in the maintenance department.

He is survived by two children, John Hathorn and Janie Ackley, both 
of Longview; three brothers, James Hathorn and John Hathorn, both of 
Kernnard, and Robert Hathorn of Longview; three sisters, Claudia 
Brasher and Irene Curry, both of Crockett, and Doris Ackley of 
Kennard; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 11, 
2007, at the funeral home.
