Holland, W.A. "Bill" KILGORE - Graveside services for W.A. "Bill" Holland, 82, of Kilgore, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, at the Kilgore Cemetery, with the Reverend Father Stephen Butts officiating. Mr. Holland died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, in Kilgore. Mr. Holland was born January 29, 1925, in Minden, Louisiana, to Allen Thomas and Ola Holland, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge No. 101. Mr. Holland was retired from East Texas Engineering Associates after 44 years of service as a field engineer. Bill was an avid fisherman. He took great pride in his yard and made sure it always looked nice. Mr. Holland loved coaching little league baseball, where he even had the opportunity to coach several All-Star teams. His wife of 56 years, Lorraine; parents; and two brothers preceded Bill in death. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Smith of Liberty City; two grandsons, Derek Smith of St. Louis, Missouri and Brent and Stephanie Smith of San Antonio.
