Howard, Verdell M. "Weezie"

Services for Verdell M. "Weezie" Howard, 75, of Longview, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, 
September 15, 2007, at East Cotton Street Church of Christ, with Brother Edward Nolan 
officiating. Burial will be in Carterville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bigham 
Mortuary. Mr. Howard died September 7, 2007, in Longview.

He was born in Hallsville. Survivors include his sons, David Howard, Terry Cotton and 
Bivins Caroway; daughters, Beverly Howard, Sandra Howard, Velvet Gray, Linda Davis, 
JoAnn Cotton, Verdell Caroway, Vivian Hamilton and Bivilynn Caroway; brother, John 
Davis; and sister, Gladys Christian. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the 
funeral home.
