Hagen Jr., Carl J. Carl J. Hagen Jr., 82, of Longview, passed away October 18, 2007, at his residence. He was born October 21, 1924, in Clifton, to Carl J. Sr. and Addie Clyde Carpenter Hagen. Mr. Hagen owned Longview Fireplace, and he also started Hagen Lighting and Hagen Supply in Longview. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Hagen was past president of the Eagles Lodge No. 1845, which he helped to organize. He also belonged to the Knights of Pithians, Elks Lodge and the Shriners. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Longview. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beth Hagen of Longview; children, John Hagen, Kim Hagen, Connie Hagen, Jean Holly and Jeff Green; 10 grandchildren, Shane Hagen, Caleb Hagen, Kristin Fields, Austin Fields, Kateland DeRouen, Hagen DeRouen, Shannon Dezell, Kelly Youngblood, Lauren Green and Kylie Green; six great-grandchildren, Rachelle Childers, Karley Hagen, Heather, Hannah, Haley and Hudson Dezell; as well as one great-great- grandchild, Kennedy Springer. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2007, at the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
