Herritage, William Martin A Mass for William Martin Herritage, 60, of Longview, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with Monsignor Xavier Pappu as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Mr. Herritage died Monday, October 15, 2007, at his residence. He was born January 2, 1947, in Longview, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Herritage was the proud owner of Mission Sales in Longview, a tool salesman for 40 years, a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church and a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus. Martin's passions were his church, music, hunting and attending sporting events with his son. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Willene Herritage. Surviving Mr. Herritage are his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Margaret Herritage; son, William Martin Herritage II; sister, Martha Bodenheim of Garden Ridge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon Brown Jr., Lynn Brown and Gwen Ingram, all of Longview, and Sharon Jones of Terrell; father-in-law, Vernon Brown Sr. of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Moody, Randy Cook, Zach Cook, Tim Kuhn, Dennis Hazzard and Brian Johnson. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. this evening, October 17, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com.
