Horton, Nancy Lee

A celebration of the life of Nancy Lee Horton, former resident of the 
Danville Community, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at the 
chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Burial will follow at 
Danville Cemetery, Kilgore, Texas. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, 
at the funeral home.

Nancy was born December 9, 1935, to Ivy Lou and Porter Samuel Horton, a 
pioneer family of Gregg County, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jesse Bertram Horton; 
and a sister, Margaret Horton Gunn.

Nancy is survived by two nieces, Joyce and husband, C.M. Howell, of Dallas, 
and their children, Porter Howell of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kendall 
Howell Vela of Dallas; and Catherine and husband, Dennis Hopkins, of 
Arlington, Texas, and son, Noah Sheetz of Milan, New York.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to James L. West 
Alzheimer Center, 1111 Summit Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
