Hutson, Jack R. Memorial services for Jack R. Hutson, 82, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with the Reverend Jonathan Jehorek and the Reverend Roger Gage officiating. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hutson passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at a medical center in Longview. Mr. Hutson was born August 17, 1925, in Port Arthur, to W.P. "Budd" and Nettie Hutson, and he had been a lifetime resident of Longview. He was a former manager of Fisherman's Market and a volunteer for the V.A. Clinic, both in Longview. Mr. Hutson was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Battle of the Bulge, where he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for heroism. He was an avid fisherman and attended the Clarksville City Baptist Church. Mr. Hutson was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Wayne Hutson. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Donald Wayne Hutson, and his mother, Jessie, both of Longview; daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie and Roger Gage, and Lorann Henderson, all of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, LaVerne and Donald Dennis of Longview; four grandchildren; nieces, Denise Hudson and husband, Steve and DaLee Trevino and husband, Eddie, all of Austin; and three great-nephews.
