Thomas W. HERNDON, 86, native of Chirot county Arkansas, died at 6:45 pm on Sunday at the home of his son, O. T. Herndon, east of Longview. Mr. Herndon had been living in 
Harrison county the past 4 months. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 on 
Monday at Welch’s Funeral Chapel, with Rev. L.T. Greer conducting the rites. Burial 
will be at Grace Hill cemetery. He is survived by two sons, O.T. Herndon of Longview, 
and L.K. Herndon of Talley, Texas.
