Jamerson, Crawford Arnold A service celebrating the life of Crawford Arnold Jamerson will be held at noon Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church on Highway 349 in Longview, with the Reverend Richard Holloway and the Reverend Homer Rockmore Sr. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home. Crawford was a 1965 graduate of Mary C. Womack and received his bachelor's degree from Prairie View A&M University in 1969. He was employed with Eastman Chemical Co. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jamerson; two sons, Terrence "Terry" Jamerson and wife, La-Shunna, and Cedric Andre' Jamerson; one grandson, Jalon De'Shawn Jamerson, all of Houston; and sister, Evangelist Dianne Haynes and husband, Russell of Longview. Active pallbearers will be Thomas Dobbins, Alfred Dobbins, Eugene Thomas, Rodney Loftis, Rubert Mosely, Jimmy Hubbard, Rodger Bigler, Kenneth Hill, Thomas Jones, Mike Johnson, Curtis Lampkin, Roy Walker, Clarence Garrett, Wayne Mayo and John Lewis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, April 20, 2007, at 502 Sue St. in Longview.
