Johnson, Audie Leon Graveside services for Audie Leon Johnson, 80, of Longview will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2007, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview with Minister Ritchie Hamm officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Johnson passed away Friday in a local nursing home. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Audie was born October 30, 1926, in Daingerfield, Texas, to Carl and Nona Johnson. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a barber for many years in Longview and eventually went to work for Bass Chevrolet, where he retired as the finance manager. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Etta Johnson of Longview; his children and their spouses, Denise and Ray Pardue of Baton Rouge, La., Mike and Linda Johnson of Longview, Linda and Dick Pickell of Rockport, Rodney Weathermon of Lake O' the Pines, Al Johnson of Longview and Annette McBride of White Oak; sister, Helen Petty; sister-in-law, Dot Johnson; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
