Kindt, Doris LIBERTY CITY -- Doris Kindt died October 26, 2006, in Lake Orion, Mich. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur L. Kindt; and her brother, Guy Ray Rutland. Those left to celebrate her life are her daughter, Wendy and husband, James McNaughton of Lake Orion, Mich.; her sons, Kenneth and his wife, Gayle Kindt of Tucson, Ariz., and John and his wife, Lynette Kindt of Liberty City. She was blessed with eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Dean and his wife, Allie Rutland of Tomball, and Kenneth and his wife, Wilma Rutland of Lampasas. Mrs. Kindt was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a lifelong Sunday school teacher, and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rochester, Mich. During the time she and Art lived in Texas until they moved to Michigan, they were faithful members of McCary's Chapel United Methodist Church. She served as the teacher of the adult Sunday school class, and also as chairperson of the board of trustees. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Arnold Moore Funeral Home at 1410 SE Washington Blvd. in Bartlesville, Okla., with the Reverend Jerry Turner of Longview officiating. Music will be provided by Laura Spann of Liberty City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to McCary's Chapel, Rte. 1, Box 257, Kilgore, TX 75662.
