Korzeniewski, Norbert Funeral services for Norbert Korzeniewski, 50, of Longview, will be noon Monday, August 27, 2007, at East Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Wes Sherman and Dr. Raymond Tenpenny officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Thursday evening, August 23, in Longview. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born April 6, 1957, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to Robert and Mary Korzeniewski. He had been a resident of Longview since 1979. Norbert will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his wife, his two sons, family and the Lord. Norbert graduated from Gary High School in 1976, and attended Panola Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University. He was the president of the family owned business, Bo-Mar Tool and Manufacturing Co. He also was a longtime member of East Mountain Baptist Church and served as deacon, Sunday school director, usher director and maintenance personnel. Norbert lived his life with a strong commitment to serving others, giving unselfishly of both his time and talent. He enjoyed being a member of the Longview Running Club and playing the harmonica and accordion. To share his joy of music, he wrote Christian music for harmonica players. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert N. "Bob" Korzeniewski. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Becky Korzeniewski; sons, Matthew and Joshua Korzeniewski; and mother, Mary Korzeniewski, all of Longview; brothers and sisters, Valerie Kroiss and husband, Doug, Cynthia Tate and husband, Tim, Robin Knowles, Kimberly Butterfield and husband, Bruce, Kevin Korzeniewski, Rene` Korzeniewski and Maevine Pugh and husband, Charles; and six nieces and four nephews.
