King, Benny Ray

Memorial services for Benny Ray King, 52, of Kilgore, will be 6 p.m. Thursday, 
December 20, 2007, at Laird Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Edwin Findley 
officiating. Arrangements are by East Texas Funeral Home. Mr. King died December 
13, 2007, at a local hospice.

Born August 22, 1955, in Henderson, he served in the U.S. Navy as an airplane 
mechanic during the Vietnam era, worked as a truck driver and was a lifetime 
area resident. Survivors include his wife, Linda King; mother, Betty Rankine; 
sons, Steven, Cody and Duaine; daughters, Peggy Lynn and Holly; and brothers, 
Sidney and Ronny King.
