Luman, Bessie Services for Bessie Luman will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007, in the Welch Funeral Home Garden Court, 4619 Judson Road, with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery of Nacogdoches, Texas. Bessie went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2007. She was born October 4, 1922, in San Augustine, Texas. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Longview. Mrs. Luman was preceded in death by her husband, George M. "Shorty" Luman; and son, Kenneth Gene Luman. She will be missed by her surviving family: daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Larry Hodges; two granddaughters and their husbands, Tonya and Walter Pither, and Lajuana and Hal Inman; four great-grandchildren, Amanda and husband, Aaron Ferguson, Alesha Pither and fiance, Kory Moon, Taylor and Preston Inman. Thanks and love to Highland Pines and Southern Care Hospice. They were wonderful to Bessie. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund, 2900 N.
