Services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Davis-Lewis, 88 of Longview, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Harrison St. Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Wyche Cemetery, Longview, TX. Arrangements are with Craig Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be from 12-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the funeral home. 

Ruby Lee Davis Lewis was born to the parentage of Willie and Creola Davis.
She was added to the church at an early age. Later united with the East Cotton Street Church of Christ. At the time of her death she was a long-time member of Harrison Street Church of Christ.

She was married to McKinley Lewis. To this union three children were born, Percy, Alice and Vickie. She adopted 8 of her grandchildren, Dwayne, Lamont, Ronnell, Dannell, De'Andre, Vickie, Tiffany and Michael. Ruby was a licensed cosmetologist, a great cook, and she enjoyed doing crafts which consisted of crochet, macromere, cake decorations, and silk flower arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband McKinley, parents, daughters, Creola and Alice, grandson Michael, sisters, Mary, Cecil and Ethel Lee, brothers, T.J. and daughter-in-law Lorraine McAlpine.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter , Vickie; sons, Percy, Dwayne (Denise) of Chicago, IL, Ronell (Rachel) of Meridian, MS, Donell of Fremont, CA, Vickie "Tu-Tu", Andrew of Corsicana, TX, DeAndre of Longview, TX and Tiffany of Greenville, TX; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. sisters, Ethel (Elvin) Crain and Willie Fern both of Longview, TX.
