Lipsey, Althea Funeral services for Althea Lipsey, 88, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 2, 2007, at Oakland Heights Baptist Church, with the Reverend Tom Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Memory Park, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007, in Austin. Mrs. Lipsey was born November 12, 1918, in Logan, Ohio, to Charles and Minnie McMullen, and she had been a longtime resident of Longview. She was a member of the Grace Sunday School Class at Oakland Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 46 years, Luther B. Lipsey in 1985. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Benji and Dianne Lipsey of Pearland and Charles and Sherrie Lipsey of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Lorelei and Dean Andrews of Liberty Hill; grandchildren, Angie Schultz and husband, Mike, Debbie Baros and husband, Jimmy, Tammy Patek and husband, Mike, Chuck Lipsey and wife, Kelly, Scott Lipsey and wife Shanna, Candy Rasberry and husband, Kurt, Kim Pool, Kyle Andrews and wife, Raynee and Kris Andrews; and great-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Carter Schultz, Breeann and Mikayla Patek, Chelsy and Charly Lipsey, Luke and Payton Lipsey, Brian, Brett and Brent Rasberry, Logan Pool and Ty Dean and Delaney Andrews.
