Mata, Ruben Miguel    

Memorial Mass services for Ruben Miguel Mata, 9, of Longview, will be 7 p.m. 
Tuesday evening, August 1, 2006, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with Father 
Didio Bubides officiating. Cremation arrangements are by East Texas Funeral 
Home of Longview. Ruben was born September 15, 1996, in Longview, and he 
passed away July 30, 2006, at a Dallas hospital. Ruben was a member of the 
Alba Soccer team and the Longview Soccer Association. He played as an 
outfielder. He also loved rodeos and western clothes. Survivors include his 
father, Rafeal Mata of Mexico; mother, Glenda Alderman Garcia of Longview; 
sisters, Rosalinda Marie Gonzales, Tiffany Nicole Gonzales, and Martha 
Marissa Mata, all of Longview; and many other family members.
