Services for Miriam Vinson Meadows, 92, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, 
2006, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with Mr. Foy Vinson and Mr. 
David Watts Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Meadows 
passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Meadows was 
born March 22, 1914, in Gregg County, to John and Sarah Murphy Vinson. She was a 
member of Reel Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Clifford; her parents; sons, Bob Meadows and Bill Meadows; and her brothers and 
sister. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters-in-law, Mary Meadows and 
Billye Meadows, both of Longview; grandchildren and spouses, Todd and Rachel 
Meadows of Overton, Chris and Ginger Meadows of Gilmer, Tracy and Jeff Stewart of 
Whitehouse, and Debra and Larry Marshall of Longview; 12 great grandchildren; three 
great-great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece. Memorial contributions may be
