Morris, Annice L. Annice L. Morris, 77, of Kilgore, died Friday, June 9, 2006, at a Tyler hospital. She was born in Brown Spring, Arkansas, on August 22, 1928, to William and Myrtie Matthews. Annice was a great cook. She loved gardening, nature, RVing and watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Her family was the most important part of her life and her heart was devoted to her loving husband, James, with whom she shared 59 wonderful years. Together they owned and operated Jananna Foods, which was formerly Alberts Hot Sauce. Survivors include her husband, James Morris; sons, Ronald and Kevin Morris; daughter, Vickey Morgan; grandchildren, Tami Couillard, Terra Gibson, Tye Daugherty, and Leighann and Karra Morris; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Whitney Daugherty, Chelsea Morris, Jayci Gibson, Kylie Henry, Kailyn and Kamree Couillard, Jordan Gibson and Austin Couillard; brothers, Bill, Eugene and Melvin Matthews; sisters, Marcille Ward, Doris Word and Helen Wheaton. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Russell Ray Morris; brother, W.J. Matthews; nephews, Paul and Jimmy Matthews; and niece Carol Matthews. The family will receive friends this afternoon from 1-2 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. immediately following the visitation.
