Morris, Mary E. 

KILGORE -- Services for Mary Morris, 79, of Longview, formerly of Kilgore, will be 
2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Scott 
Finley of San Antonio officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. 
Mrs. Morris died Tuesday, January 24, 2006, in Longview, Texas. She was born March 12, 
1926, in Canyon, Texas, to Roy and Theodocia Davis. Mrs. Morris graduated high school 
in Canyon, Texas. She married J.B. Morris Jr. on May 25, 1944. They moved to Laird 
Hill in 1966. Mrs. Morris was a longtime member of the Highway 42 Church of Christ, 
now known as the Post Oak Church of Christ. Mrs. Morris is survived by a sister and 
brother-in-law, Dorothy Dean and Lester Oestreich of Longview; a sister-in-law, Retha 
Harroff of Dallas; nieces and nephews, Rickey Oestreich of Longview, Tommy Muncy of 
Odessa, Nancy Oestreich of Longview, Jacqueline Morris of White Oak, Kim Robertson of 
Laird Hill, and Pam Hortman of Mineola; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Ardie Robertson and 
Joan Muncy; nephews, Stan Colbert and Bobby Muncy; and a niece, Janis Muncy Fitzpatrick. 
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. this evening, January 26, 2006, at Rader Funeral 
Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Post Oak Church of Christ; or Heart'sWay
