Musfeldt, Lauron Lee Memorial services for Lauron Lee Musfeldt, of Longview, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at the Greggton United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Becky Henson and the Reverend Emmitt Barrow officiating, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Lee passed away March 21, 2006, at Good Shepherd Medical Center. Lee was born March 17, 1937, in Scranton, Iowa. He was a member of Greggton Church, where he served as an usher and also as a Sunday school teacher. Lee also served on the finance and memorial committees. He loved golfing, playing bridge, volunteering at church and in the community, and traveling. Lee served on the Longview Board of Adjustments, volunteered to help people displaced from hurricanes Katrina and Rita, served on the Metropolitan Planning Commission in suburban Chicago, was United Way chairman, and helped with the boy scouts organization. He worked for John Deere, Signode, FMC, and LeTourneau, Inc. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; daughter, Janice Musfeldt and her husband, David, Bernhodt of Knoxville, Tenn.; son, James Musfeldt and his wife, Belle, of Pleasanton, Calif.; and three brothers, Dale, Ralph, and Roger.
