Mullins, Geneva E. Funeral services for Geneva E. Mullins, 79, of Longview, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2006, at St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church. Jim Watson will officiate, and Geneva's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Geneva was born March 31, 1927, in Norton, Virginia, to Edgar and Eula Roberts, and she died Monday, December 11, 2006, at a Longview hospital. She was a founding member of the St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church in Longview and was very involved there. In addition, Geneva was active in the Woodmen of the World, and she was a also very talented oil painter. Her husband, Ellis Mullins, preceded her in death in 1997. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ked Mullins and wife, Alicia of San Antonio; daughter, LaWahana Mullins of Kilgore; grandchildren, Michael Mullins, David Mullins, Patrick Mullins, Chris Mullins, and Deirdre Mullins; brothers, Earl Roberts of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Fred Roberts of Cocoa, Florida; and sister, Edwyna Hinesman of McCloud, Texas. Geneva will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church.
